New Year means Dduk-guk for good luck.
Ingredients:
2 cups sliced rice cake ovalettes (Asian food stores)
4 cups chicken or veg broth
1/2 cup frozen vegs of choice
1/4 cup chopped onion
dash of garlic
dash of salt/pepper
Add all ingredients together and bring to a boil. Rice cakes will be soft when done cooking.
